Description
OMAR means “amber” in Gaelic, and the name reflects the elegant amber color in our single malt whisky. The place where Nantou Distillery is located has a pleasant climate and source of pure and unpolluted water which is suitable for the whisky production and maturation. That is why they built the distillery here. The whiskey is non-chill filtrated and bottled without caramel adding.
For their Sherry Cask Finished Single Malt Whisky the distillery went to Spain looking for the partners in 2015. Eventually, the Garvey Sherry Winery in Jerez, which was built in 1780, kindly provided the Oloroso sherry casks that have been used for entire Solera system. Furthermore, the Ximenez Spinola in Jerez, built in 1729, also kindly provided the entire Solera System PX sherry casks.
The whiskey is aged using the Solera System: A process for maturing sherry wine by fractional blending the wine from different ages. One third of the oldest spirit from the bottom layers of system fills into bottles then transfers another one thirds of spirit from secondary layer cask into the bottom layers casks. The youngest spirit is filled into the top casks by this analogy basing on each period of maturation.

Aroma: Longan honey, ripened mango and banana, raisins, plum preserves with a woody scent followed by aromas of fresh citrus and apple
Palate: Sweet with rich fruit
Finish: Long, dry fruit with hints of orange cake

If the recipient is unable to provide valid identification, the delivery will not be completed, and the products will be returned to For Cypress Liquor.

Returns and Refunds
3.1. For Cypress Liquor takes great care in packaging and delivering your order to ensure its quality and condition. In the event that you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect products, please contact our customer support within seven (31) days of delivery to request a return or exchange.
3.2. Refunds or replacements will be processed at For Cypress Liquor' discretion after evaluating the nature of the issue. We may request additional information or photographic evidence to facilitate the return process.
